How do I connect Open Pi to my Raspberry Pi?
Enable SSH on your Raspberry Pi, make sure your phone or tablet is on the same local network, then add the Pi host or IP address, port, username, and password or key in Open Pi. The app can also scan your local network to discover devices. Available on iOS today; Android coming soon.
Why can Open Pi not connect to my Raspberry Pi?
Check that SSH is enabled on the Pi, the IP address is correct, your iOS device is on the same Wi-Fi network, and any firewall allows SSH on the configured port. Verify credentials and that the Pi is powered on and reachable.
Does Open Pi work over the internet?
Open Pi is designed for local network access first. Optional remote-access workflows may be available depending on your setup, but the core experience is connecting to your Pi on your LAN over SSH.
Is Open Pi available on Android?
Open Pi for Android is coming soon with the same Raspberry Pi monitoring, SSH terminal, and file tools as iOS. See the Android preview on the homepage or join the waitlist to get notified at launch.
How do I get help with alerts, terminal, or file transfer?
Open Pi includes push alerts for CPU, memory, and temperature thresholds, a full SSH terminal, and SCP file browsing. If something is not working as expected, email support with your iOS version, Pi model, and a short description of the issue.
